The average being 8.65625 makes sense as the commonsense answer would lead you to believe that the average would be 8.5 with a 17-game schedule. Draft Kings seems high on the Rams and Ravens for good reason. Both have a franchise QB and talent to go with it. While the Ravens lost a lot in free agency and have a first-time head coach, they had a great draft. The Rams were at the cusp of the Super Bowl to have their own rematch vs the Patriots instead of the Seahawks. As long as rehab doesn't carry into the season for star receiver Puka Nacua, there is no reason they shouldn't be ready to take another run at it this year. The Cardinals and Dolphins are playing for 2027 right now. Both have first-time head coaches, but questions at QB. Is Malik Willis really the answer? He has never thrown more than 23 times in a game, and did you see that opening pitch? The dolphins have concerns all over their roster and two tough teams in their division. Sorry, not sorry, Jets. The Cardinals have it even worse, three tough teams in their division, and Jacoby Brissett is their projected starter. Drafting Love at third overall is nice to have, but you shit your pants and changed your shirt. Other players would have been better for you at this time. Also, by taking him third overall, they are now fully guaranteeing $53.9 million over the next four years to a running back.
